Kanye West has FINALLY released his music video for his next single release 'All of the Lights'. Directed by Hype Williams, in a futuristic, technicolor style, the video stars Kanye West, Rihanna and Kid Cudi with vocals by Fergie, Charlie Wilson, John Legend, Tony Williams, Alicia Keys, La Roux, The Dream, Ryan Leslie, Alvin Fields and Ken Lewis.All-round a good video, but perhaps not worth the wait...would have been good if ALL of the vocalists could have starred in the video, but that's a bit far-fetched really.

Fashawn Ft. J. Cole - Nothin For The Radio
J.Cole and Fawshan are two rappers whose styles are so in sync, you could mistake them for being a rap duo. Here's their latest collaboration named 'Nothin' for the Radio'. Also check out one of my favourite songs at the moment, 'Relaxation' below.

Nas x Damien Marley - Patience
Wow these guys just came deeper on this video, in terms of both the track itself as well as the truly epic video. Both artists travel the lands as Kings, Nas wearing a golden crown and Damien clothed in a velvet robe, something very LOTR-esque about this video! This is the latest track from their 'Distant Relatives' album.

Big Sean x Chris Brown - My Last
Latest track from 'Louis Vuitton Sean' (lol) forthcoming album 'Finally Famous'. Not his strongest lyrics, but I'm feeling Chris Brown's appearance on this track!

Sean Garrett x J.Cole - Feel Love
This video would be so much better if it didn't have Sean Garrett's incomprehensible chit chat (to us English folk) at the beginning! But still a good song, nice to see J.Cole on a slower track, although it has nothing on his collaboration with Miguel.

Jesse Boykins x Limit to Your Love
If I was to tell you a neo-soul artist has covered James Blake's 'Limit To Your Love' in a reggae format, you'd probably cry/laugh...but this is actually a beautiful rendition of the highly acclaimed song. Jesse Boykins III has a similar eerie echo quality to his voice that James Blake does, just in a more soulful fashion. I love how he puts his own mark on the song towards the end, a really, really really beautiful cover!

Ed Sheeran x Mikill Pane - Little Lady
Listening to this song really brought back memories of my time in Nepal where we learnt about sex trafficking into India and had the opportunity to visit the Maiti Nepal rescue centre for trafficked women. It's horrifying how young girls are misled and forced into prostitution at such a young age, and this song tells the story of a girl that was trafficked into England by her own family, and how she continues to sell her body in order to feed her family back home. A harsh, but very honest reality! Ed was very brave subject to feature this song on his second EP, an EP which led to him receiving a number 1 place in the iTunes Album Chart and a signing at a major label. I wish more artists would take risks like this and write songs that raise thoughts and questions in listeners minds; you don't have to be running around protesting the streets and attending Amnesty International meetings to make a difference, just being aware and discussing issues can make a change within your own small communities.

SB.TV A64 Rufio Summers - "All Of The Lights" [Kanye West cover] and Akeachi
It was hard for me to hear a cover of one of my favourite Kanye West songs on his 'Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy' album; but I think Rufio did it justice! Check out his video for Akeachi below...
I think I'm in love...
Rufio is performing next Saturday (12 Feb) at The Bang Bang, 512 Kingsland Road, details here

SBTV A64 - Yasmin 'On My Own'
Check out Yasmin's acoustic version of her debut solo single 'On My Own', available on iTunes now. Watch out for her upcoming album featuring tracks with Shy FX, Labrinth, Jamie XX and Diplo.
The Bird and The Bee - Again and Again
Musical duo 'Inara George' and 'Greg Kurstin' make up 'The Bird and the Bee', an indie duo from LA I discovered on the TOTR blog earlier today. It's actually quite an old song, from their Debut EP 'Again and Again and Again and Again' (figures right?) released in October 2006. But its a nice song all the same.
James Blake Album
If you listen to the radio, have a Facebook or Twitter, or even fully functioning ears; you wouldn't have escaped the hype (both good and bad) surrounding James Blake over the past few months. A music grad from Goldsmiths, it's clear that whatever genre/category/tickbox you want to place Blake in, it most certainly has to be the 'Original' one. He has posted an album sampler on his YouTube page where you can listen to ample size portions of each song as well as pre-order the album. I thought I'd post my favourite songs of his 'The Wilhelm Scream' and 'Limit to Your Love' first so that you can get a taste of him before listening to the sampler; imagine a posh, electronic, dubby, futuristic Marmite - you either love it or hate it lol!

Anuvahood
When I saw everyone tweeting and blogging about 'Anuva Hood' I thought oh great another boring, stereotypical 'UK Street' film to make me angry and everyone out of the "14-21 Londoner category" even more petrified of 'hoodies and fitted cap wearers'. But instead it's actually a hilarious parody of your typical 'hood boy' starring Adam Deacon, infact the trailer says that the film is BY Adam Deacon, very impressive! I can't wait for this to come out!

Jessie J - Price Tag ft. B.o.B.
I'm a bit late on this one, but if you haven't seen it check out the video for lady of the moment, Jessie J's latest single 'Price Tag' featuring B.O.B. The video shows a completely different side to Jessie J, alot more mellowed out you could say, compared to her more erotic and edgy video for 'Do It Like a Dude'; nice to see she can work both styles well! Something about her reminds me of Natasha Beddingfield when she first came out, Jessie J is obviously a lot edgier and less manufactured than her though lol!

►Mikill Pane::::http://www.soundcloud.com/mikillpane
"It's the return of Mikill Pane, the lanky __ in Urkel frames" Quite literally. Mic murderer Pane returns to us following his 2009 Writer's Block debut. This time, the East London rapper is set to perform a set with some spanking new material. Celebrated for his punchy wit and social commentary laced with gut busting humour, Mikill has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran- most recently on The' No. 5 Collaborations Project', as well as being part of the music collective The Wick Kidz.
►Zayna Daze::: www.myspace.com/zaynadaze
Zayna Daze is love. Plain and simply. You may remember the film collaboration we did for Writer's Block Presents: Spoken Unplugged. Further to her cinematic mastery, Miss Daze is a refreshingly delicate poet, writer and musician. Her playfulness with instrumentation has seen her create some fantastically experimental sounds whether at live shows with her loop pedal or heartfelt collaborative E.Ps 'Cloudy Daze' Volumes 1 and 2.
► 14th ::: www.14thmusic.com
Our hilarious show hostess Tracey is no one trick pony, and has in fact been recently slaying the London live music circuit as part of dynamite Tropical Soul duo- 14th. Described as an underwater space party, 14th are band with a natural disposition for producing exceptional sounds. Relatable lyrics, futuristic production and power house vocals. We've never been more excited about an act on this show!
► Nate:: http://whosnate.bandcamp.com/
It's not often that we come across rappers that make us stop in our tracks and reload the, err...track. One listen to Nate's bandcamp site will verify all. A fiery lyricist with a hypnotising flow, this'll be young Nate's Writer's Block debut where he'll deliver his own 'Love Rhymes' offerings.
► Belle:: http://ouicestbelle.blogspot.com/
More than just a singer/songwriter Belle is a forward thinking music lover who- though still up and coming- has carved a unique musical identity and brand for herself. Belle's songs are often moody and deliciously atmospheric, with the kind of haunting electronic production that punctuates her vocals perfectly.
► Anthony Anaxagorou:: http://anthonyanaxagorou.com/
Anthony is a poignant and often political poet who has toured with the likes of Brit rapper Akala to deliver hard-hitting, reflective rhymes. Blown away by his flair for wordplay and attention to detail, we're sure you'll be as taken a back as we were.
