Listening to this song really brought back memories of my time in Nepal where we learnt about sex trafficking into India and had the opportunity to visit the Maiti Nepal rescue centre for trafficked women. It's horrifying how young girls are misled and forced into prostitution at such a young age, and this song tells the story of a girl that was trafficked into England by her own family, and how she continues to sell her body in order to feed her family back home. A harsh, but very honest reality! Ed was very brave subject to feature this song on his second EP, an EP which led to him receiving a number 1 place in the iTunes Album Chart and a signing at a major label. I wish more artists would take risks like this and write songs that raise thoughts and questions in listeners minds; you don't have to be running around protesting the streets and attending Amnesty International meetings to make a difference, just being aware and discussing issues can make a change within your own small communities.
