Cadbury have a record label now??? Gwarnnnn! This is the first single release from "Glass And A Half Full Records", you may have already seen it on your telly by now! I like the song and the video makes you smile, much better than that freaky eyebrow crap they had before!
"Ghana is the heart of Cadbury Dairy Milks Fairtrade Cocoa and so the track celebrates all things Ghanaian: its people, its rappers, its dancers, its cultural figures and, of course, its cocoa beans."
Buy this song on iTunes for 79p and Cadbury profits go to the 'CARE' charity!

Mz Bratt ft. Sadie Ama- "I Like You"
Mz Bratt's latest track 'I Like You' features production by Terror Danjah, Sadie Ama on the vocals and cameo appearances from Ny and Tulisa from N-Dubz! Bratt is currently on tour with Tinchy Stryder all over the UK and later on in the year she's touring with N-Dubz. Many have predicted big things for this beautiful young MC, and I reckon its all starting to happen. I must admit, I prefer her quicker, more grimey lyrics and flow...but this more slow-paced, relaxed style of Mz Bratt's fits in perfectly with this light-hearted, girly song! I prefer it A WHOLE LOT MORE to that 'Who Do You Think You Are' song, girl if you got man pulling on your hair in a rave then u shud pepper spray them straight!
Westwood TV: Dizzee Rascal freestyle
Yeahhhhh boiiiii I love Dizzee!
I don't need to promote Tongue in Cheek as Dizzee just did it himself, but make sure you cop the album...couple tracks on there are jokes and his flow is still sick as you can hear!!

Consequence – Whatever U Want (feat. John Legend & Kanye West)
Anyone who knows me will know I am quite possibly one of Kanye's biggest fans, but I am also a big fan of both John Legend & Consequence. Now taking into consideration the collaboration artists on this track and the director...this is just pure and utter crap!
The man that used to rap about Jesus, is now talking about buying girls handbags.
The man that used to have me rewinding his songs to hear his witty & smart lyrics, now has me click "x" before the track is done.
Not the most creative, original or interesting of comeback vids.
I'm NOT being a hater, before anyone comments "you're just jealous" / "you wish you had a baldhead and was once a stripper", but is it me or has Kanye just gone CRAZY since Amber came on the scene:
Crap music
Autotune?
I don't even need to mention VMA outburst and repititve apologies
You could say its because of his latest fashion projects etc, but Kanye has nearly always managed other projects alongside...I just think Amber's shit has got him going wild! Poor man. Fix up and get a doll Kanye, I wanna hear some good music!

UK FUNKY LIVE REVIEW by Marvin Sparks
This is one of the most raw and truthful reviews I've read in a looooooooong time. It's quite lengthy but is funny in an abrupt and blunt way and seriously speaks the truth, Mr Marvin Sparks doesn't hold back. Below are some of my favourite quotes from his interview, but click the link to read the whole thing!
"Past the ticket collection bit, not many people there. In the distance I see this line stretching back quay mookoo on some theme park ride levels in comparison to every other line, so I'm thinking "Rah, the event sell-arff" only to find out it was the complimentary ticket line :/ Wah gwarn for that?"
"Now let me state this first: I went out of curiousity. A funky concert didn't hold too much weight to me. Yes, I blogged about UK Funky Sessions 1Xtra did, but I watched that from the comfort of my home and it wasn't intended to make money. A concert in one of the most historic venues in the world which has seen the creme de la creme of music, big UK fights etc. for a genre which has been around for a year or 2? A place where I saw Jay-Z bring out Beyonce and Nas, now staging the likes of Katy B, Ny and Dotstar - artists you'd see at your Uni rave? o2 domination + recession = hard out here for Wembley."
"They introduced MC Ver-sa-tile. Worst dressed? Probably. Think he was on the rail replacement bus behind me about he's wearing some tracksuit jacket on stage. Oh no I forgot, he's funky's Mr. Motivator. Funky Anthem was well received, followed by Its That Fukry (Funky) cover of Cameo's Candy. This is where problem 2 of venue choice became apparant (if it wasn't already). Not only was it too big, could you imagine a dance festival with Deadmau5, Prodigy and David Guetta being held in an all-seater? Where the hell are people meant to dance? Had to dodge the crep-stepper-on's at this point - I didn't wanna have to get old skool. Went down well, I guess."

Interview with Geia Anderson
I recently did a mini interview with Geyah Anderson aka Duckie, a fellow blogger from America. Geyahsblog features news from the fashion, music and art worlds as well as lots of interviews from musicians, designers and artists including Luke Monaghan and V.V. Geyah has her heart set on becoming famous one day and wants to set up her own online magazine site! Check out her interview below for more info on her inspirations, interests and some tips for you bloggers out there!
So, Geyah...why Duckie??
Well, ever since I saw Pretty Pink I thought Duckie was just the coolest nickname. But it originally came from this Duckie necklace one of my lil cousins gave me from a school carnival . I love that necklace! I wear it all the time to this day! So thats when the name Duckie surfaced.
If you could describe your blog in 5 words, what would they be?
Dope, Informing, Personal, Different , Duckie! lol
You've interviewed some really cool people on your blog, including Britain's Luke Monaghan, Bongo Boy and V.V. Which of your interviewees would you say inspired you the most?
I enjoyed all my interviews that I've done so far & I get inspired from each of them in different ways. I would say 13th Witness interview was the most inspiring. He told me alot of things to help keep me going. He's one of those rare REAL people that keeps it funky , & when you get in touch with one you have to really open your ears & take in what there saying.

Bashy - Life Official Video
'Life' is the fourth release off Bashy's debut album 'Catch Me If You Can' and features hard-hitting, gritty lyrics in a spoken-word/street-journalist fashion over a ToddlaT beat. The double MOBO award nominee addresses subjects like violence, greed, sex and death and is quite controversial, in a typical Bashy fashion! Video production is amazing and perfectly fits the grittiness of the issues discussed!
Directed, edited and shot by Ben W Rose for GraphicStateOfMind
'Life' is available for digital release October 25th!
Melanie Fiona - It Kills Me
The beautiful Melanie Fiona premiered the video for 'It Kills Me' on 106&Park today, directed by Armen Djerrahian and featuring Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami. Her debut album, 'The Bridge' is due for release on 3rd November.

Amerie: Heard Em All video & 'In Love And War' release date & sampler
I am a HUGE Amerie fan and am really excited for her 4th album 'In Love And War'! Her last album, 'Because I Love It' didn't do so well, however I was a fan of the 80s theme of it, my favourite tracks included 'Take Control', 'Gotta Work' and 'Weekend Love', but to me it had more of a mixtape feel!
Amerie fans have been waiting for more of the singer/ songwriter/producer/actress's material for two years, and her latest album 'In Love And War' is to be released in the UK on 2nd November. The first release from the album will be the powerful 'Why R U', the second release will be 'Heard Em All' featuring Lil Wayne. Click on the image below to hear an album sampler for Amerie's new album 'In Love & War'. Listen out for 'Higher', 'Tell Me U Love Me' and 'Pretty Brown'.
Tracklist
1. Higher (Snippet)
2. Heard Em All (full)
3. Tell Me You Love Me (Snippet)
4. Why R U (Full)
5. Pretty Brown (Snippet)
6. Red Eye (Snippet)
Today was actually the first time I heard 'Heard Em All'...the video for which can be found below! I'm so happy that Amerie's people have finally got their act together and given her a sexier, more dynamic, edgier video+look. New label. New album. New look Amerie!

Bashy - Life trailer
The full video premieres tomorrow, 25th September and the single will also be available for digital purchase on this date! Heres some info on the video taken from Bashy's Youtube:
"Double Mobo Nominee Bashy doesnt just release singles he creates talking points, moments of audio brilliance that captivate the listener and spark debate and comment that transcends the three minutes and thirty something seconds they occupy.
Life is destined to continue the trend as Bashy pours three emotive verses over a soulfully layered Toddla T production. The fourth video from his acclaimed Catch Me if You Can album, Life sees Bashy go back to street commentator mode touching subjects of greed, underage sex dreams won and more often lost in a way only he can.
The video sets itself apart too painting the perfect picture to match Bashys almost tangible delivery. Dropping snaps shots of each scene as Bashy skips effortlessly between each bar."
I'm excited to see what the full video is gonna be like, check back tomorrow to see it!

I've been hearing this song on the radio alot recently, so hopefully it will be just as successful as her last single 'Frontline', if not more! Kano - Rock n Roller
I really, really, really like Kano...but I really, really, really dislike this song AND video! I heard this track a while ago on the radio, for the first 15 seconds I thought it was an American Kanye wannabe, what with the autotune and bad singing...but then as soon as he started rapping, I knew it was Kano. My immediate reaction was: "WHAT THE F*** IS HE DOING!!?!?", but then I sat back and remembered that this seems to be the career path for any ex-grime artists wanting to make a quick buck in the UK: make an electro-beat preferably with a singer on it, but if your budget is too low...just sing yourself, and most importantly keep it simple, even if this requires you to just chat generic shit that noone will remember...the kids love this stuff and kids+pocket money=high rankings in the chart!
After realising that Kano had just jumped on the electro bandwagon to make some £, I empathised with him and thought, maybe he'll use the money he earns to support a big uk tour, or maybe the video for 'Rock N Roller' will be really well funded and creative.....well no it isn't, its just a crappy, typical white studio backdrop featuring the sillhoute of the work experience girl on set and some really poor costume choices on Kano's behalf!
I. am. disappointed. Fix up Kano!

Interview with Justin Hustlin
Justin Hustlin is a UK streetwear clothing brand based in London, I caught up with Sweet-tooth Shacky and Dirty Dre, the mastermind chefs behind the Justin Hustlin, to find out more about the 2D conceptual world surrounding the brand and their plans for the future!
So first things first, what is Justin Hustlin all about and who or what would you say inspired your designs?
Shacky Sweet-tooth: "The name Justin Hustlin represents the aspirations in us all to be all we can be. It’s a lifestyle inspired street wear label created for individuals in the pursuit of excellence. We took the word ‘Hustlin’ that generally has quite a tainted perspective and gave it new life.
‘Just in Hustlin’ simply put, represents the pursuit of excellence.
Our label is a representation of this journey and conveys a strong positive mental attitude of being all you can be in life."
Dre: "The inspiration behind it all stems from this way of thinking, to which we’ve created an entire conceptual 2D ‘Justin Hustlin' world, complete with unique and colourful characters with their own individual backgrounds and storylines each representing various aspects of this journey."
And where did the Bakery concept and Team Hustlin idea come from?
Dre: "The whole Hustlins Bakery concept stems from one of our main characters ‘Doughboy’ and it also pays homage to the retro styling of a well-known doughnut chain, with a bit of Hustlin twist. (Probably better if we mention no names. They do make bloody good doughnuts tho!) Hustlins Bakery is where all the magic happens. It’s our base from which we create everything that is Justin Hustlin."
Shacky: "All these conceptual characters and designs are spread out across a handful of street wear apparel, consisting of limited edition and small run, T’s and hoods with attention paid to the smallest detail ranging from inside labels to the packaging of each individual garment.
Team Hustlin is basically everyone who is involved in the creation of what you know as Justin Hustlin to date. This includes all the characters from our 2D world as well as our very own talented team of illustrators, writers, and generally beautiful people. You can find out more about team Hustlin and view each characters profile and story by clicking here http://www.justinhustlin.com/ team_doughboy.html "
Who's behind the brand and what different roles do each of you hold?
Shacky: "It’s a small but very productive team with Dre and myself at the wheel. Its our role to captain this Justin Hustlin ship, make sure we’re heading in the right direction, keep the designs looking fresh and delicious and generally have a good time along the way."
Dre: "I just count the Doe, and make a few scribbles in my sketchbook from time to time! ..Did I mention I
love my job!?"
You both hold a kind of hidden identity, I notice in your photos your faces are replaced with cartoon versions.
Dre: "Nah nothing as cool as that.. I would love to say we’re like spies or something cool like that but all that’s happened is we’ve spent so much time in our Justin Hustlin 2D world we’ve slowly started to merge with it!"
Shacky, Dre and friends in Berlin.
There's an awful lot of street wear brands out at the moment, the t-shirt craze is insane right now. What makes Justin Hustlin different?
Shacky: "Ultimately what make’s Justin Hustlin unique, is the conceptual 2D Justin Hustlin world we’ve created and the colourful characters within it, each with their own individual backgrounds and storylines of whom you’re introduced to in each series (collection) as its released."
Dre: "Also the simple fact that everything we create is inspired by day-to-day life, and our take on it and not solely based on what colour or style is deemed to be ‘in’ right now. Be the Shepherd, not the Sheep."
Are there any future plans for the Justin Hustlin brand to venture into areas, other than clothing?
Shacky: "Definitely, we plan to introduce the world to our world via apparel, toys, cartoons, TV, music, ….Twitter"
Dre: "We feel as though Justin Hustlin as a brand can work in most mediums. We actually have a few things in the pipeline already. Recently we where approached by a production company who had previously seen and loved the concept of Justin Hustlin. This has resulted in us working together over the past couple of months on turning Justin Hustlin into an animated cartoon series, which is going to be called ‘Paper Lane’. I don’t want to give too much away but make sure you stay tuned to Hustlin TV at www.justinhustlin.com later this year for the first episode."
What other street wear brands are doing it right now for you?
Dre: "For me right now it’s all about the Goose boys! The Brand is called Double Goose and they hand make some of the most banging leather jackets you can get your hands on. check out http://www.doublegoose.net to see what im talking about. We went over to Paris earlier this year to get a couple made up for ourselves… I’ve been waiting all summer to wear mine! I was actually looking forward to winter this year."
Shacky: "For me ‘Pigalle’ as a collective, what they produce and represent is awesome. They have managed to fuse some of the high end with your cool everyday street wear and make waves with it. Plus them guys are super cool and put on hot parties."
If you could have ANY artist in the world wearing Justin Hustlin in their next music video, who would it be and why?
Shacky: "Hmm not sure about that one? I’d guess we’d just be happy seeing Justin Hustlin on anyone who really pulls it off well and has their own unique sense of style and character, whether they are a super star or just starting out, doesn’t matter to us."
Justin Hustlin 'Head Chef' Hoody
How would you describe your brand and what it stands for in 5 words?
Dre:
"Welcome to our world!"
Tinseltown or 24 hour Mcdz?
Migraine Skank or Head, Shoulderz Kneez n Toez
Show me how you get dowwwn!
Iphone or Blackberry?
No comment, you don’t wanna see the dusty phone in my pocket right now

Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Alone
I don't even know if this song is good or bad. As soon as I heard Olive singing 'You're Not Alone', my biased opinion immediately kicked in and I just started thinking "Nah the originals better, Stryder can't be remaking music like this, I loved this song when I was younger...No he just can't do this". Master Shortie - Bringing It Back
Master Shortie is 'Bringing It Back to them old skool daaayyyyyss' lol! This guys swagger (i hate that word!) and dress sense is ON POINT!!!!! The video is cool, I love all the 80's references. I wasn't sure what category to put him under, so I put hip hop, he's kinda hip hop meets indie meets pop....I just don't know, but maybe thats a good thing!

JLS - Everybody in Love
Finally those poor boys at JLS have got a decent music video. Their second single of their self-titled album, 'Everybody In Love' was shot in Los Angeles, USA and features girls/cars/different scenes and a whole host of other luxuries that neglected to appear in the 'Beat Again' video. 'Everybody in Love' is a kind of middle of the road track, produced by American JR Rotem, its kind of half R&B, half pop... at the end of the day, JLS still gotta make some p and pay their bills so the pop infusion is sort of justified. I'm feeling this track more than 'Beat Again', the video is better, the vocals are better and so is the songwriting. Their debut album is set to be released on November 2nd and will not doubt reach number 1 in the UK Charts. I wish them the best of luck, I'm secretly a fan!

Jay-z Blueprint Review
A blueprint is a guide for making something in the future, and Jay-Z's Blueprint III, the final release of the trilogy and his 11th studio album, attempts to do just that, in what is described by chief producer, Kanye West, as an "anti-Auto-Tune album".
Jay-z fans that are anticipating a formulaic, hardcore hip hop album full of disses and explicit lyrics will be disappointed.
Instead, you can expect amazing orchestra-based production from Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, The Neptunes and of course Kanye West. In addition, there are appearances from a versatile range of collaborations, from Hip Hop freshman; Drake, Kid Cudi and J.Cole, to Urban Royalty; Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Pharrell. There are also some unexpected features from Empire of the Sun, and British singer, Mr Hudson.
The Blueprint 3 opens with the futuristic ‘What We Talkin Bout’ featuring vocals from Luke Steele, which, in typical Jay-z fashion, is a boastful, ego-enlarging track strongly demonstrating that Jay-z has grown up, “I don’t run rap no more, I run the map”. What with, his own record label, part-ownership of a basketball team and club, plentiful awards, and number one records, it can safely be said that entrepreneur, Jay-z, does run the map!
The first release from the album and one of the only three solo tracks, is the controversial T-Pain dissing, ‘Death Of Autotune’ featuring a powerful electric guitar solo over which Jay-z proclaims “I know we facin’ a recession, but the music y’all makin’ gonna make it the great depression”. The energetic, heavy bassline of this song makes it the perfect song to play out of your car at full volume and your guaranteed to hear this in the club, along with Swizz Beatz’ ‘On To The Next One’, and second solo ‘Venus vs Mars'.
Top tracks to listen to include the exceptional ‘Run This Town’ with Rihanna and Kanye, the NYC-advertising, ‘Empire State Of Mind’ with Alicia Keys and the cocky, yet witty ‘Thank You’.
Is Blueprint 3 a guide for promising, young musicians and emcees, providing inspiration for the future? Well, no not really. But it’s definitely an album that grabs your attention, provides a fresh outlook on hip hop at the moment and proves that Jay-Z still possesses the skills, lyrics and musical talent to see off any competitors.
3/5
Blueprint 3 is now available at all good music retailers and on iTunes.

An all star cast featured in new movie: Takers 2010, watch the trailer here.
Its like they took all the hot men in Hollywood, and put them together in a slick, (poorly acted) bank heist film. Judging by the trailer, this film had some decent funding behind it! I wonder if this'll kick start Chris Browns "acting career"?

Trainers of the day: Adidas Originals - FRM MID523TKO
"The Forum Mid was one of the most popular 80’s basketball shoes by adidas and adidas Originals have brought back the shoes in the form of women’s FRM MID523TKO. This retroed sneaker takes inspiration from the Keirin track racing bicycles that are common sight today. With neon bright colors making highlights on the otherwise plain white classic sneaker. Toe/heel section and ankle strap is bright orange and the inner lining is neon green with the heel section and outsole colored in blue. Black trefoil logo takes place where it should be on the tongue and on the side of the ankle providing extra 80’s flavor. "
