East London rapper, Brewer dropped the video last week for his Mac Miller freestyle cover, 'Nikes On My Feet'. This video served as quite an introduction for myself, however with 2 mixtapes totalling over 5,000 downloads and Youtube views clocking up the 3,000 mark in just one week - it looks like I'm late on this one!
Equipped with an intelligent, steadfast flow, chilled beats and tales to tell that are beyond the everyday hype statements I see from rappers on my Timeline everyday, Brewer is a refreshing artist to watch out for in 2012. 14KT - A Friendly Game of KT (free mixtape)

Michigan rapper, KT - also known as Kendall Tucker has dropped his latest album, 'A Friendly Game of KT' a 14 track project which KT describes as 'like a game of Pick Up Sticks'. The first half of the album is available for free download here, and if you like what you hear you can purchase the full album on iTunes! Clever huh ;-). Check out the track list below as well as further information from the man himself on his motivations behind the album!

This project just created itself. One day, I woke up and decided I wanted to make a project. I took a handful of arbitrary beats and put them in a folder. My most FAVORITE thing to do as an artist is sequence and mix together music for albums. It’s kind of like a game of Pick Up Sticks. I had a can of “beats” with different colors, poured them over a table top, picked them up randomly, and whatever “sticks” I ended picking up, I took and made a project with them. I didn’t have a title for it, so I sent the beats to my A-Side family, in a email with the subject, “It’s time to play a friendly game of name KT’s album!” Being the geniuses that they are (Shouts to Mayer Hawthorne!), they named the project off the email subject. Perfect. About 2 weeks after I got the title, the project was turned in. Simple! Enjoy. –14KT
